Meldin 3000 series

Excellent Mechanical Properties

MELDIN® 3000 materials have excellent mechanical properties, in tension and compression, and maintain an impressive level of these attributes as operating temperatures increase.
These properties add extreme strength and rigidity to component parts, even in narrow cross-section.

No Post Cure
Typically, MELDIN® 3000 moulded components require no post cure. Product deliveries are enhanced through reduced lead times and brief manufacturing cycles.

Good Chemical Resistance
MELDIN® 3000 is resistant to a great many chemicals, fuels, and lubricating fluids. This outstanding chemical resistance provides superior performance in a variety of aggressive environments.

Superior Weld-Line Strength
Unlike other high performance materials, MELDIN® 3000 exhibits extremely strong weld-lines. With MELDIN® 3000 components, there is no concern for moulded part integrity.

Complete Mating Surface Compatibility
There are MELDIN® 3000 bearing grades available for all mating surfaces having hardnesses of Rockwell B25 and higher.

Broad Design Flexibility
Since MELDIN® 3000 components are manufactured by an injection molding process, extremely intricate as-moulded designs are available. Injection moulding allows for close tolerances, without the complication and cost of secondary machining.

MELDIN® 3000A
Excellent multi-purpose, wear resistant material that is suitable for bearing, thrust washer, and piston ring applications. MELDIN® 3000A requires a minimum mating surface hardness of Rockwell C35.

MELDIN® 3000D
This bearing formulation is particularly well suited for use with soft mating surface materials such as soft stainless steel and aluminum.

MELDIN® 3000F
Components provide stiffness in addition to high wear resistance for excellent dimensional stability and good bearings properties. It is recommended for use when part requirements include high strength in thin cross sections.

MELDIN® 3000G
Use MELDIN 3000G when the combination of high strength and electrical insulation is required. Components made from this material exhibit superior properties in tensile, flex, and resistance to deformation under load.

MELDIN® 3000H
This product offers the highest strength and stiffness in addition to electrical conductivity when static dissipation is required. Its very low rate of thermal expansion makes MELDIN 3000H an excellent choice for high temperature bearings and components.
